Here We Go Again

After such a long period of inactivity, I've once again jumped into some of the latest ARGs. 

Urban Hunt and "Haunted Apiary Let Op", as it's being called so far are turning out to be pretty interesting so far.

Every time someone asks about Halo 2 at work I tell them the Nov. 9th release date but also make sure to mention the ilovebees site.  I must go on far too long about it because the response is always "Uh...thanks," with a weird look in their eyes as they back away from me.  Not everyone is into it, I guess. 

The only problem is it means I am once again reduced to sitting in front of a screen as much as I can following IRC chatter and refreshing websites and inboxes, waiting for the next clue to drop, some headway to be made or hidden meaning to be discovered in what we already know.  I'm back in the habit of looking at the clock and finding several hours have passed, a day has gone by and I have nothing to show for the time except a head full of game speculation.

Man is it fun.

In other news not much is going on.  I saw I, Robot the day it came out and was fairly surprised at how good it was.  It wasn't just another cookie cutter Will Smith action flick that you see on video or will watch on cable when nothing else is on.  I genuinely enjoyed it.

My trip to Ottawa was enjoyable.  The weather was lovely right up until I left, despite what the weather stations were claiming.  It was going to rain they would say every day.  Even when looking out the window revealed a beautiful blue sky without a cloud to be seen.

I've received my acceptance into the optional fourth year of my course.  Paid the minimum amount due, (since I also had a hotel room in Ottawa to pay for at the same time,) and am ready to go in September. 

Other than that it looks like it's going to be fairly uneventful for the rest of the summer around here.
