Happy...Mid...January

Well I hope everybody had a great Cristmas and a safe, fun New Year's Eve.

I've had better New Year's I can say that much. I was supposed to go to a party with some friends but was supposed to stop off and help a friend move first. I had been told "we'll move for a bit then go to the party." I figured that meant we'd call it quits around 9 or so and head to the party. Turns out it meant "Everything needs to be out of here. Today is the deadline." So I spent my New Year's moving. Now I understand the saying "Friends help you move. Best friends help you move bodies. And friends who pull that crap on New Year's Eve become bodies to be moved." At least it was something like that.

Anyways, I survived the last big push to get crap done before the holiday. Projects done and in, marks given. As it is looking like right now, 3.333 GPA so far though I have to get an incomplete fixed. That's the problem with big group assignments, the correct marks sometimes get lost.

The logo I had to do got done in the time I said it would and they like it. Fantastic. Now that takes care of everything except the woman who wanted her website updated and has yet to contact me back after calling her server provider to get some problems fixed, the company website I was told they wanted but have yet to hear from them since they're too busy to set up an initial meeting and a few more calls that have popped up in the last couple of days that may be for more work, we'll see. At least it doesn't all hit me at once. I like how the work comes in just as I can make room for it instead of trying to cram it all in in the same small time frame.

Now that I've jinxed it, it'll start happening all at once. - asmyth82 1:43 PM -
