Another Hallowe'en is almost upon us. That means pretty much zip to me. My favourite part is carving the pumpkin and I've done that. The only thing left to do I guess is sit back and wait for the kids to come to the door. Let them say "Trick or treat!" Had a blast last night. That Irish pub is now probably my favourite place to go...uh...drink responsibly. Yeah...That's the ticket. I stick by the belief I didn't overdo it since I woke up perfectly fine this morning. No hangover, no nothing. I WON! I WON! I won a.....free month at a gym? WTF? I didn't even give a rat's ass about the contest. Not hard to believe when the woman who asked if we wanted to enter came up to us and started her pitch with "Now here's a group of people who look like they could use a workout." That's like selling cosmetics door to door and starting with "God DAMN your ugly!" Or working a suicide crisis hotline and answering each call "Why the hell are you wasting my time you pathetic loser?" Ah, so another weekend begins. At least for me anyway. Looks like it's going to be a busy weekend. Not thatt I mind since some of that busyness is coming from parties. A buddy had his birthday today so we're taking him out celebrating Friday to an Irish pub. Hanging out with a bunch of drunk Irishmen? What's the worst that can happen? That was a joke people. So tonight was the night I did my part on the video thing I promised Ang I'd do. I was planning a qucik "Happy Birthday" but I started rambling. I hate it when I do that! Oh well, it's over and done with and unless the tape is accidentally erased or really screwed up during editing, I won't have to do it again.

I saw Muda had made a post about what I had said earlier about creating a comic about the Anim-X charatcers and how it was sitting on the backburner. So I figured, OK, he wants to see it, I'll do one. I may do more when I get a free few hours. Maybe I'll do one weekly or something, I don't know.

Well now I've seen everything. A national Film Board of Canada film that didn't suck. I'm in shock. At first I thought, "Oh great. A damned Canadian Film Board movie, these always suck. And it was made in Montreal! This doesn't help matters!" But I enjoyed it, and Lord knows I'm very critical of films. - asmyth82 9:06 PM - ____________________

So I find out that while my buddy received my review, he was unable to access the site to post it. He also wanted me to lengthen it. I told him fine, post it and then give me temporary access to the site. For somebody who claims to know something of computers, it took a few tries to explain to him that setting up temporary access was possible. I almost had to break out the sock puppets.

I also found out Joe had his party on Saturday and it was a good one. He says he told me about it but I'd assume if I'm not there when he says party, then I can claim I don't know about it. If him saying he's having a party and I'm not there to hear it still counts as me being told, then I'm going to have to consider that as a plausible way to break up with someone. Well, it's Sunday night and I am bored. I should try and get some work done, but I just don't feel like it. I sent a buddy my review of Iron Monkey yesterday for him to post on his site since he was desperate for content and I haven't heard back about it. Oh well.

Tomorrow is another week and it's going to be like the last few I can tell. I have the next two days off of work and yet I won't have any extra time. I'll get home tomorrow around six, eat and have to work on some project or another. tuesday I'll be done at two, but have to trek back for the movie, so I'm not actually free until seven or so. Then Wednesday, done by four, but I then have to rush to work. Thursday I have off, but I need to be in to work at three. Hopefully I can rest Friday.

Ah, Communication Strategies! What a BS course. It's not the course itself I find to be BS, or the teacher, because she's awesome. It's the fact it boils down to me writing BS. And public speaking? I've been BSing that for years! I took a public speaking course in elementary school and BSed my way through the final speech/exam. Well I just saw Iron Monkey and boy, was I unimpressed. It may have been done by the fight guy from The Matrix and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, but it's still nothing more than a B movie. "You're kung-fu is...good."

I got home and checked my email. To my surprise, I had two emails waiting. Wait, the surprise wasn't me getting email, it was because I had been added to the Ring of Fire. I don't know how she does it, but 27 must have some sixth sense. She sees blogs. - asmyth82 10:55 PM - ____________________

It seems ro me that blogger users become infected. Like those sci-fi movies where the virus takes control and the infected go out to find more hosts to infect. I remember the days of 27 convincing Muda to switch from Livejournal to Blogger and not even a week has passed and I've talked someone into starting a blog. My mother, no less. She was thinking of starting a wep page for her Catholic Womens League which would mean ME doing it. Now while I don't mind helping, (it is my mother after all,) the idea of her setting up her announcements and whatever else on a blog is win-win. Not only does it mean I have only to help set it up and perhaps customize it, but it'll be easy for my mom to use. YAY! Saturday! A day to relax, kick back and do nothing. Oops, I'm thinking of someone else's life. Saturday for me means going to work, then coming home and working on the projects I need to get done,. Or start, whichever. I was thinking of going to see that Iron Monkey tonight if I find the time. Figured I'd do it to take a buddy up on his offer to write a review for his site. Seems they're in big time need for content. No wonder, checking out their site it's mainly nothing but Dreamcast reviews. Oh well, any chance to put my name on something that people might see. I'm a sucker for any type of fame or recognition. For somebody who didn't want to start a blog because I thought it'd go to waste and unupdated, I sure am doing a lot of posting. For some reason I'm liking the fact that if I'm bored or have a few minutes I can come here and post anything, even if I have nothing to say. It's like talking to myself except not as loudly. So it took me two hours to get home. It's a 45 minute bus ride, but only when the bus decides to show up. Damned bus drivers. So many lazy ones out there, at least in my city. This probably won't come as a surprise, but I hate havinga class on Friday. Even though it's only temporary for today, I stil don't like it. I was standing in the rain for twenty minutes waiting for the damned bus. Oh well, gotta do it.

She also wanted to know if Mom, Dad and Mike would be in it. Last time I checked, we were family, so we'd gladly do it. She said she'd get back to me in a week or two.
