Nothing makes your day than being able to leave work halfway through your shift because the system keeps crashing.

In other news, I'm done my Christmas shopping. Save for a few last minute items, I'm done. In November. Now any money I have left over I can spend on presents for the most important person. Me. Do I have this whole Christmas spirit thing down, or what?

I'm looking at having to hand in all my projects by the end of next week, then a week of exams that will basically mean I'll have a week off. The week after that will be my last week working before the Christmas shutdown. They seem to realize nobody wants to add banking services to their account over the holidays.

This will mean two weeks without a paycheque, but I don't mind. I can't remember the last time I had a break from work and school. It's been a long time coming and I'm definitely looking forward to it.

So much for free swag

According to Bahkti, the Jagwac radio is now shut down. No more music, but even worse no free swag for me. I think I'll be able to manage. A couple of things came out of it. I've added Bahkti to the ever changing list of links on the left and since Jagwac is shut down, I needed to fill the link space on the right.

I thought for a while of what I could put there. I wanted something that was original and creative. Then I figured, screw it, I'll just rip off everybody else by using the space to occasionally link sites I come across that I think are cool.

Getting back to what needs to be done.

I don't think I've ever been so busy without actually having things to do. I blame the four days I had off of work, not that I'm complaining since that would be stupid.

I was worried that all these projects were coming due this week so I worked and worked, but in the end it turns out they were due next week or the week after. Procrastination it is.

I was checking out release dates for movies and I think I'll be going broke from having to spend so much time in the theatre. Hell, I'm not even considering release to video movies, though I already have Spider-man and no, I'm not going to spend the money on Episode 2 when there was only a few minutes of footage worth watching: Yoda and Amidala in her white outfit. And I am definitely not buying the new LOTR video. I'm not spending more money on 30 extra minutes of footage. Though the bookends look pretty cool.

There is the two new Matrix movies coming out that look pretty good. Then of course Daredevil, The Incredible Hulk and I hear X Men 2 is coming out in May, but oddly enough I haven't heard too much about it. There's the new Bond movie and I know there are a bunch of others I'm forgetting about. Hopefully most will be good and not suck ass.

No title, just updating.

Been doing nothing today. And liking it. The most I've done is finally bite the bullet and buy a cell phone. It'll be useful with work, school and etc. Of course I think that now, but I'm sure two weeks after it arrives I won't use it at all. Can I ever do anything without spending my hard earned money? Guess not.

But a little splurging is fine since as on Nov. 1, I got a raise. At least that's what I was told earlier in the month. I haven't seen any documentation on it nor have I seen my paycheque yet, but with so many people having been told about it at work, how can the info be wrong?

Spent Hallowe'en wathcing movies. Insomnia and The Sum of all Fears. Insomnia could cure it and the sum of all my fears was that the movie wouldn't end. You think a film about a murderer and a film about a nuclear strike on America wouldn't drag, but you'd be wrong. Not that they were bad movies, but Jeebus, could they have picked up the pace a little? That's all I was asking.
