Some people got here by actually searching for combustion monkey. Either they were looking for this actual site, which if they knew about it, would be like asking "What's pepsi's website again?" If people know about the site, the URL's pretty easy to remember. Otherwise, they were looking for cases of combusted or combustible monkeys. I'm working to get to that level. Maybe in a few years I can get a webcam set up. Though try getting a helper monkey with an excuse like that. "Why do you need a helper monkey?" "I want to put him on a webcam and find out how combustible he is." Moving on.

Who the hell doesn't love zombies?

Well I aced the smell project which does't come as a surprise since it involved a zombie. You just can't lose with a zombie. If the design wins me anything has yet to be seen, but if not, that means I still own the rights to it and it just gives me a reason to get some T shirts printed up. A buddy and I have been talking about it for a while now. Just a matter of finding something other than cafepress. We've gotten a few quotes, it's just a matter of getting the money together to pay for em and whether or not we have any designs we think could sell. (I vote for the zombie of course. Zombie! Supah! Numbah One!)

In other news, school might go on strike. So they'd fuck around with my final year, at crunch time no less, and there'd would be little chance of getting any money back for the time missed.

Jesus, it's piling up.

I have to head to the printers, or at least Kinkos, (mother loving Kinkos,) for two projects. One of which I'm sure I'll have to redo in the lab since programs I'm using don't have all the same pantone spot colours I have to use. Then I have to build a Flash site, which wouldn't annoy me as much if not for the fact there's so much more to do. Have to create a music video, which I've roughed out will be 2800 frames of animation. I may be able to cheat a bit and throw in some video or still shots and maybe some scenes done in flash, but I'm thinking most of it will end up being hand drawn frame by frame. Top that off with another 3D modelling project we're getting Monday.

That's not even including the preparations for our grad shows and portfolios and resumes. Then the big kahuna of em all, our grad book. 9" by 12", double page spread for each person. It'd be sweet to win the cover and template design, not only for the recognition but also to save time by not having to put everything into someone else's template. No matter what this book is going to rock. Highest qualaty job that has ever come out of the course period. Materials to print, all donated free.

It'll be great as long as we don't screw up.

Other than that I'm just not doing much. Nose to the grindstone, working away.
