Like Clockwork, Except The Clock's Been Busted For A While

Pardon the update, I figured anybody still coming by would like to see a change.

Well how's by you? Good? OK then.

I am now looking at finishing school in about two weeks. Personally I'm looking forward to it. I'm getting bored and to the point I no longer care. Every time the past month I think I'm done, another project jumps out not so much to bite me in the ass, but just annoy the hell out of me.

Not that finding the time to work on them has been relatively hard lately. Work has cut everybody's hours back the past month/ month and a half. So I've been working 5-15 hours. Which is OK, I can use the time to finish this shit up or take a breather. Though once I have no classes any more, I will definitely be needing the money.

After that, it'll be the usual graduate hussle. Find a job so as to prove that the money spent on the education wasn't wasted. Easier said than done since the job market sucks, or so I'm told. Plus I really don't feel like moving so it does limit me to what's available in the area. Not as much a deal as I'm sure it was in the past with the internet and all but still.

I just need to make enough money to live while we try to get our business up and running. Speaking of which, those of you who still read this and those of you with a link, be ready for a change and a need to update said link. Because part of getting the business up and running requires this site taking a turn to the business end. Basically this blog will just be moved to a subdirectory, most likely smyth.combustionmonkey.com. I'll be sure to post the new direction beforehand to avoid the disappearance of new content, (not that it happens much these days,) like what happened when I moved from blogspot. I still had people mention that I never update and realize they were talking about the blogspot address two years after I moved.

So yeah, what you're looking at now will move to a subdirectory and the main domain will turn into the business frontpage. It's coming along pretty well. Still needs some work, but I'm basically writing all the content in divs in plain, unformatted html and then using css to do the majority of the stuff. Needs some more work but it's a learning experience because I've never done it before. Sure I've used css before but it's usually just minor stuff, like formatting the text and whatnot. The way I'm doing the mainpage so far loads all the images through the external css page and positions all the divs that way too. Up until now I've mostly avoided divs and layers due to instructors giving me old information of how layers shouldn't be used, it should be tables! Tables are the way to go! Thanks for staying knowledgable and with the time guys.

So that's about it for now.

Oh, one last thing. See Sin City. Seriously, go right now. You'll thank me later.

What are you still doing here? GO!
