Holy Shit, I'm Not Dead!

Normally when I post I have some idea where the entry is going but I also normally post more often and somewhat sober. However, work with what ya got.

I've spent my time since my last post working and relaxing, though not at the same time. I didn't get my promotion at work for bullshit reasons, none of which were because I couldn't do the job. The reasons had nothing to do with me or my abilities. I just get fucked. Yay.

Still have a bunch of clients to get work done for. No matter how many times I hear it, whenever I'm told a client likes my work I love it. I'm egotistical, sue me.

In other news there are some damn good movies out. 40 Year Old Virgin. I'm sure you've been told to see it before. Fucking see it. If you've already seen it, I don't think you need to be told to see it again.

Movies coming out: Lord of War looks awesome. I've watched the trailer several times now and it always makes me laugh.

The one disappointment is that V for Vendetta was pushed back. Despite the early stuff I heard about it being bad and despite coming for the same people responsible for the trilogy that turned into crap after they stole the original story, I was looking forward to seeing it after seeing the trailer. I like Hugo Weaving and Natalie Portman. The former because he's cool, the latter because she can act and is hot.

Anyways, that's basically it. If you'll excuse me, it's the Labour Day weekend and I have a bottle of scotch, a bottle of rum and a case of beer that need my attention.
